Alia Bhatt does the signature pose women at the special screening of Gangubai Kathiawadi on International Women's Day 2022 

Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are basking in the glory of their recent release Gangubai Kathiwadi, which premiered at Berlinale 2022. The film, which stars Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Jim Sarbh and marks the Bollywood debut of Shantanu Maheshwari, arrived in theatres on February 25, 2022, and continues to make waves at the box office.

To celebrate the women in the film, Alia Bhatt attended a special screening of Gangubai Kathiawadi on International Women's Day 2022 in Mumbai. The actress was seen posing with women in sarees. There was a signboard that read, "Shakti, Sampati, and Sadbuddhi."

 

 

Gangubai Kathiawadi was screened at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival in February and was a part of Berlinale Special, a segment of the film festival which is dedicated to showcasing exemplary cinema.

 

Viacom18 Studios & Paramount Pictures International will be distributing Gangubai Kathiawadi in all International markets outside of India. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), the film was released on 25th February 2022.
