Alia Bhatt pens birthday wish for her “little melon smiggle pop” Shaheen Bhatt; calls her “the BEST person ever”

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has penned a heart-warming note for her older sibling and author Shaheen Bhatt who is celebrating her birthday today. To mark the occasion of her older sister's birthday, Bhatt has shared two delightful photos featuring Shaheen. Interestingly, both photos were clicked during Bhatt’s wedding festivities.

In the first photo, the Highway actress can be seen decked up in her bridal outfit. The Bhatt siblings can be seen giving an adorable pose for the click. Meanwhile, the second photo was from the Mehendi ceremony of Alia. “happy birthday to the BEST person ever .. my sweetie .. my little melon smiggle pop,” wrote Alia, followed by a couple of kissing emoticons.

 

The Raazi actress further added, “I love you so much that no amount of cute and sweet sounding words will ever be enough.” Before signing off, she penned, “Okay bye calling you in one hour.” In no time, a section of Alia’s Insta fam flooded the comments section with birthday wishes for Shaheen.

 

 

 

Apart from her sweet post for Shaheen’s birthday, Alia recently made headlines for welcoming her first child with husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia also revealed that they have named their daughter Raha.

 

Coming to her professional front, the 29-year-old actress was last seen in Brahmastra, which marked her first big-screen collaboration with Ranbir. The Ayan Mukerji directorial also featured Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. She has a bunch of projects in her kitty including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which will be directed by Karan Johar. In the upcoming film, she will be seen romancing her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh.
