In a tweet shared on Monday, Bachchan emphasized the team's talent, capability, and standing, stating that "the results of the 10 you played exhibited that... you are a feared team." He also praised their achievements, highlighting how they "devastated... ex champions and winners" in the tournament.

 

"You are the BEST... and shall remain so... Team India… Rohit Sharma," Bachchan affirmed, expressing his unwavering faith in the team's potential.

 

 

 

This message of support comes after Bachchan had earlier joked about his superstition of not watching India's matches, believing it brings them luck. His lighthearted remark had drawn attention online, and many had cautioned him against attending the final.

 

Despite the outcome of the match, Big B remained steadfast in his admiration for the team, sharing a photo on Instagram with the caption, "NO NO NO .. TEAM INDIA .. not OFF yet .. you are our pride .. you are the heart where the hand rests.."

 

 

 

Coming to the professional front, the 81-year-old actor was last seen in Ganapath: The Hero Is Born, which also starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He has a bunch of projects in the pipeline including Kalki 2898 AD and Section 84.
