When Amitabh Bachchan shot scenes for Te3n

 

For the first time, this particular trio, namely Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are coming together for a suspense drama titled Te3n. The film, that has only increased curiousity levels after the trailer hit the tube, also has scenes that were shot by the megastar Amitabh Bachchan himself.When Amitabh Bachchan shot scenes for Te3n

 

Apart from singing the emotional 'Kyun Re' track, Amitabh Bachchan also has done a bit of cinematography for the film. Readers may be aware that Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of John Biswas, a grandfather on the relentless pursuit of justice since eight years. Te3n required his character to repeatedly watch home videos of his granddaughter in the film. The videos had to look like they had been personally shot.

 

 

Director Ribhu Dasgupta and Tushar Kanti Ray, the director of photography decided to shoot the home videos using a phone camera. And they thought it would be a great idea to have Amitabh Bachchan shoot it himself. When they approached the megastar with this idea, he sportingly agreed and shot the videos effortlessly, occasionally getting into his jovial self by flipping the camera onto himself for selfies. The footage was so well shot and exactly as envisioned by Ribhu, that those scenes were immediately incorporated in Te3n.
