One thing which is great in this situation is how many are now getting to spend alone time with their families and loved ones. Leaving us all inspired with a beautiful thought like this is actor Aparshakti Khurana who took to social media to share a beautiful poem along with a heartfelt message of positivity. The actor wrote, "I can't help but look at the bright side of the pandemic. It is making us all slow down, disconnect from the rat race and connect with ourselves and others. Let's hold on, not panic and be hopeful that we will come out of this stronger."

 

Here's the English translation of the poem:

 

"It’s been a while that we lazed around, worrying about nothing.

 

It’s been a while that we spent our days, not doing a thing.

 

It’s been a while that we enjoyed enjoying at ease.

 

It’s been a while that we slept in peace.

 

It’s been a while that we leisurely reflected and pondered .

 

It’s been a while that we found comfort in a pillow, closed our eyes and in our dreams we wandered.

 

It’s been a while that we took shelter under a tree.

 

It’s been a while that we had a conversation with ourselves on a spree.

 

It’s been a while that we had a tête-à-tête with our mothers

 

It’s been a while that we met our neighbors.

 

It’s been a while that we picked up a guitar

 

to sing melodies of Kishore Kumar.

 

Honestly, it’s been a while that we smiled with your lips wide apart."

 

Meanwhile, the actor was recently applauded immensely for his performance in a short film titled - Nawab. He was also seen in the Remo D'Souza directorial Street Dancer 3D alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.
