Without doubt, Brahmāstra is one of the most awaited big-screen visual spectacles of 2022. On Wednesday, with the release of the trailer, the audience were introduced to the worlds of the Astraverse. We are introduced to our main character, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor), his romantic interest Isha (Alia Bhatt), and the Brahmastra and Shiva’s link to it. Also in the trailer are the guardians of the powers essayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna, with Mouni Roy as the evil force.

The trailer was well received and elicited various responses. Reacting to the trailer, audience came up with their own set of theories and reviews trying to decide the plot of the film from its trailer. The buzz is clearly massive. Overwhelmed by the response, Ayan took to his social media handle to pen a note. “Yesterday was a very very big moment in the Brahmastra journey with the launch of our Trailer. A deeply heartfelt THANK YOU for the love, encouragement, and excitement that the Trailer is receiving. It means everything to me. I feel so energised today - as we enter this last lap leading up to our film's release,” he wrote.

 

“We will give all that energy, and more... our absolute best to give you guys-a new amazing cinematic experience with Brahmastra... one that I hope you will feel proud of! September 9th-Here we come! With Love, Light, and Gratitude,” he concluded.

 

 

Brahmāstra – the Trilogy, is a 3-part film franchise and the beginning of India’s first original universe The Astraverse. The story is set in modern-day India, against the premise of a secret society called the Brahmānsh; who generation after generation have protected many divine ‘Astras’ (weapons) that were created in ancient India, and safe-guarded from the eyes of the world. The most powerful and the deadliest amongst these divine weapons; the Lord of all the Other Astras - named after the most powerful weapon of the Gods, the BRAHMĀSTRA, is now waking up. And it threatens to completely destroy the universe we know today.

 

Brahmāstra: Part One, is the story of SHIVA – a young man and our protagonist, who is on the brink of an epic love, with a girl named… Isha. But their world is turned upside down, because Shiva learns that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmāstra… and a great power within him that he doesn’t understand just yet - the power of Fire. Experience Shiva’s adventures as he journeys into the world of Astras and in turn, discovers his destiny as the DIVINE HERO of the universe.
