Bhediya star Varun Dhawan says he had become arrogant; thought 'why should I even care what someone is saying?'

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has completed 10 years in the film industry. The actor made his debut in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2012 along with two other debutantes – Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. On Wednesday, October 19, the actor celebrated his decade in the film industry by launching the trailer of his upcoming film, Bhediya. While interacting with media, the actor recalled how he had become arrogant in early days but now has become more responsible.

Varun said, "I have always kept an ear out to hear what the audience is trying to tell me. It isn't that I have done superb work in every film... I am always trying to grow. There was a time when I had thought arrogantly. That everything is going fine, so why should I even care what someone is saying? Now, I think I am more responsible... Right now, I want to enjoy the success Bhediya will bring, what JugJugg Jeeyo brought. Because I heard the audience, I did a film like Bhediya, worked with a filmmaker like Amar, a producer like Dinesh."

 

Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan's Bhediya trailer was unveiled in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Set in the mesmerising forests of Arunachal, the Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who gets bitten by a mythical wolf, and begins to transform into the creature himself. As Bhaskar and his ragtag buddies try to find answers, a bunch of twists, turns and laughs ensue.

 

Bhediya marks Varun and Dinesh Vijan's reunion after Badlapur. It is also Amar Kaushik’s third directorial venture with Jio Studios and Maddock Films following the success of Stree and Bala.

 

Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan present, Bhediya. A Maddock Films production, directed by Amar Kaushik, produced by Dinesh Vijan and starring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee among others, is releasing in cinemas Pan-India in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in 2D and 3D on November 25, 2022.
