Bholaa Teaser Launch: Ajay Devgn reacts when asked if the Hindi remake of Kaithi will have a kissing scene, watch

After creating hype with its first teaser, the makers of Bholaa released its second teaser. On January 24, the makers along with the lead star cast, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Vineet Kumar, attended the Bholaa second teaser launch event and briefly spoke about their upcoming film. During the media interaction, Ajay was asked if Bholaa will follow his no-kissing scene rule unlike his 2016 release Shivaay.

For the unversed, Ajay Devgn is widely known for his no-kissing scene rule. In his three-decade-long career, the actor-turned-director has been a part of over a hundred films. And, he has followed his no-kissing scene policy in all films except Shivaay, which was his second project as a director. For one of the sequences in the film, Ajay broke his no-kissing scene rule and had a lip lock with his co-star Erica Kaar in a mid-air camp amidst the snow-capped mountains of Bulgaria.

 

When asked if Bholaa will continue to follow the rule or if the audience can expect a kissing scene in the forthcoming film, the actor immediately replied saying, “No.” Meanwhile, someone from the crowd said, “pap lagega (it will be a sin).”  On this, Devgn just gave a smile and remained tight-lipped.

The actor was also asked to state the difference between Bholaa and Shivaay, claiming that his look for both films appeared similar. However, the actor disagreed with the claim and said, “The look is not the same at all. They are two different stories all-together, two different scripts, and two different dramas. Two different characters for me. Actually two different genres apart from the action part of it.”

 

Coming back to the film, Bholaa is an official remake of Lokesh Kangaraj’s Kaithi. The original Tamil-language film was released in 2019, whereas the Hindi remake is slated to release on March 30, 2023.
