The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress' journey has been full of controversies. While Hina Khan's on-screen persona was that of a girl next door, everything completely changed when she participated in Bigg Boss 11. From taking potshots at fellow contestants to taking digs at TV industry members, she managed to stay in news with her controversial statements.

 

Here are all the times when Hina Khan made some bizarre statements:

 

1. While having a discussion with fellow contestants, Hina made a remark on the very popular Sakshi Tanwar. In a conversation with Arshi Khan, Hina gestured how Sakshi is cockeyed. She instantly received criticism on social media for this.

 

2. She even pulled down her so-called friend Sanjeeda Shaikh, who has been in TV industry for a really long time. Mentioning her name, she called her that she looked like an angel in real life with beautiful eyes and hair. But, does not look good on-screen.

 

3. Hina Khan, on many occasions, slut-shamed fellow contestant Arshi Khan. She had said that Arshi Khan that would only get work by tearing her clothes. She was even seen criticising Arshi for showing her inner garment. During a task, she had called Arshi cheap. All these times, Hina Khan received a tremendous amount of backlash on social media.

 

4. When she once again degraded women and this time by taking a dig at South industry. While talking about work, she mentioned that she was offered South movies many times but she had to put on weight for the same. She was seen saying, "South mein aise chahiye unhe bulging sab." (They like to cast women who are on the heavier side). She was instantly criticized by many women including South actresses Hansika Motwani and Khushbu Sundar.

 

5. When Hina hinted that Sunny Leone had fake followers and that former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan wasn't as popular as people thought her to be.

 

6. The latest controversy that was criticized was when Hina Khan called fellow finalist Shilpa Shinde a call girl. While eating the food, Hina said, "Baat kaise karti hai yaar, jaise call girl ho." (She talks as if she is a call girl).

 

With Hina Khan being in headlines every other day, she surely triggered many industry members but has also managed to come out on top. The four finalists of Bigg Boss 11 are Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta, Shilpa Shinde and Puneesh Sharma. The grand finale will be aired on January 14.
