Cannes 2019 Day 5: From elegant yet edgy look to ethereal modern day maharani, Sonam Kapoor keeps it glamourous

The Cannes Film Festival always brings together great cinema and fashion. Sonam Kapoor, this past weekend, reached the French Rivera to kick-start her time at the festival. And like always, the actress knows how to bring the best kind of fashion to the red carpet.

Starting with the press tour, Sonam Kapoor kept it elegant yet edgy with her purple gown by Elie Saab. The stunning couture had a huge bow on side of her neck. She opted for minimal makeup and let her outfit do the talking. Shiny shimmery eyes, side-parted tied hair and nude lips rounded her look.

 

 

Then, came the look that stunned us. Sonam Kapoor attended the Chopard party in a stunning custom made saree. The actress channelized her inner maharani vibes to rock that stunning gold and ivory saree inspired gown by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The long trail, choker neckpiece and kept her jewellery minimum with just ring on her ring finger to complete her look. She elevated her look with a sleek, center-parted hair, shimmery smokey eye makeup, and nude lips. All the looks were styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor.

 

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in The Zoya Factor starring alongside Dulquer Salmaan.
