Celebrities mourn the loss of India’s business magnate Ratan Tata

Ratan Tata, who has left an indelible mark in the world of business, passed away in Mumbai on October 9. The powerful business magnate, 86, was undergoing several treatments due to certain age-related conditions. He visited one of the famous hospitals in the city for a routine checkup earlier this week and later, was admitted in critical condition. He was at an intensive care unit for quite some time, before passing away on Wednesday night.

The Government of Maharashtra has declared October 10 as a day of mourning owing to the demise of one of the most loved and respected figures in the country. From politicians to Indian celebrities, many have shared their grief and passed on their condolence message to Mr. Ratan Tata’s family.
