In 2013, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani starrer Jolly LLB surprised the audience with its satirical take on the courtroom drama. The film was applauded by the critics and the fans and ended up winning National awards. It was one of those movies that surprised the audience with its storyline. The shooting of Jolly LLB 2 commenced today and it stars none other than Akshay Kumar in the lead role who will play a lawyer in the film. The film also stars veteran actor Annu Kapoor as Akshay's rival. Saurabh Shukla, who will reprise his role as the judge, shared a caricatured poster that showed Annu Kapoor and Akshay Kumar as the rival lawyers. He wrote, "Started shooting JOLLY LLB 2."

 

Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 2 is slated for release next year.
