Chhapaak: Deepika Padukone wraps up her first production with an emotional post

Deepika Padukone has been working on her first production, Chhapaak for a couple of months now which is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar. The poster was intriguing as she transformed herself into the role of acid attack survivour inspired by the life of Laxmi Agarwal. Now, the actress has wrapped up the film with an emotional post.

Sharing a picture with the entire crew of Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone wrote, "& it’s a wrap on THE MOST PRECIOUS film of my career...see you all at the movies!???? 10.1.2020 #Chhapaak."

 

Ranveer Singh also commented on her photo and cheered for his wife by saying, "can’t wait to witness the magic."

 

 

 

After bringing to screen the courage and valour of Rani Padmini in Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone personifies another tale of bravery and human spirit with Malti. Drawing instances from the life of Laxmi Agarwal, Chhapaak is a story of the strength and integrity of a woman. The film is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
