Deepika Padukone shares sweet reaction to Roger Federer’s Fast and Furious Tuk Tuk adventure; says, “My Favourite Uncle Robert!”
Tennis legend Roger Federer recently delighted fans by sharing a heartwarming video on his Instagram account, capturing moments with his parents, Robert and Lynette Federer, during their trip to Thailand. The video showcased the iconic athlete enjoying a spirited ride in a traditional tuk tuk, reminiscent of scenes from the Fast and Furious franchise.
In the Instagram post, Federer humorously titled the video, “Fast and furious. Tuk-Tuk edition.” The footage captured Federer gleefully documenting their tuk tuk excursion, beaming with joy as they navigate the bustling streets of Thailand. A highlight of the video occurs when another tuk tuk, carrying his parents, playfully overtakes their vehicle, resulting in a moment of laughter shared among the family.
Federer's followers flooded the comments section with an outpouring of admiration and appreciation for the heartwarming family moment. Notably, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone joined the chorus of well-wishers, expressing her fondness for Roger Federer's father. In her comment, Padukone wrote, “My Favourite Uncle Robert!”
On the film front, Deepika was last seen in Fighter, where she portrayed the role of an Indian Air Force pilot alongside Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. She is set to feature in Nag Ashwin’s highly anticipated sci-fi thriller, Kalki 2898 AD, sharing the screen with industry stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani. Additionally, fans eagerly await her appearance in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, slated for a theatrical release during the Independence Day weekend clashing with Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule.
