Three Indian women won coveted crowns at their separate beauty pageant events around the world in 2000, marking a watershed moment for our country. Dia Mirza was awarded Miss Asia Pacific, Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World, and Lara Dutta took home the coveted Miss Universe crown.

Dia Mirza most recently appeared in the Netflix series Call My Agent while Priyanka Chopra was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections. Lara Dutta, on the other hand, appeared in the film Bell Bottom and more recently in the web series Kaun Banegi Shikharwati.
