A Different Man: Sebastian Stan looks unrecognisable in the first look of psychological thriller

The first official look at Sebastian Stan in A24’s upcoming film A Different Man is here, and the actor looks unrecognizable in the incredible transformation.

The actor debuted a first look photo on Instagram that stunned fans. As Variety notes, Stan plays a man with neurofibromatosis who undergoes facial reconstructive surgery, only to become obsessed with an actor starring as him in a play based on his life. The Worst Person in the World breakout Renate Reinsve and Under the Skin actor Adam Pearson star alongside Stan.

 

Sebastian Stan shared a picture of his character Edward in the film, and he looks nearly unrecognizable. In the photo, the actor is nearly completely covered in prosthetics that make a deformed face. The actor simply captioned that it was “incredible work” done by prosthetics artist Mike Marino, who was also dbehind Colin Farrell’s transformation into the Penguin for Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

 

 

 

Sebastian Stan also executive produces the thriller which is written and directed by Aaron Schimberg. The film also stars Under the Skin alum Adam Pearson. A Different Man is currently in production in New York City.
