Diwali 2022: Karan Johar shares family portrait with mother Hiroo and twins Roohi and Yash, see photos
People around the world are celebrating the festival of Diwali today. The festival of lights is all about spreading love, joy and positivity. After two years, celebrities are throwing big parties in order to celebrate Diwali with their friends and industry colleagues. Karan Johar on Sunday hosted an office puja which saw several Dharma Productions’ artists attend the ceremony.
On Monday, the filmmaker shared a family photo on his Instagram. Karan Johar was all decked up in printed pink kurta and pajama and twinned with his twin kids – Roohi and Yash. His mother Hiroo Johar wore a light pink dress – all of them from Manish Malhotra’s collection. He wrote on Instagram, “Happy Diwali from my world to yours!!!! Thank you @manishmalhotra05 for our beautifully coordinated clothes … sending you all so much love and light.”
On Sunday, Dharma Productions organized a puja on the occasion of Diwali. Mr and Mrs. Mahi duo Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, director Sharan Sharma; Dharma Productions’ CEO Apoorva Mehta, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shanaya Kapoor. Ananya Panday, designer Manish Malhotra, Bedhadak stars Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and Ibrahim Ali Khan were all in attendance at the puja.
On the professional front, Karan Johar’s next directorial is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated for a 2023 release. The filmmaker is also planning to direct an action entertainer with hopes to start shooting in April 2023.
