EXCLUSIVE: Gehraiyaan director Shakun Batra chooses his favourite between Siddhant Chaturvedi's Zain and Deepika Padukone's Alisha

In a recent interview of Shakun Batra with Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker talks about his favorite character from his forthcoming film Gehraiyaan. When the host asked Shakun to choose between Zain and Alisha as his favorite character, the director said “I have written all of them and I cannot take sides, I love them all”.

To which actress Deepika Padukone interrupted as she was in the same interview, the actress said “Ye diplomatic waghera nahi chalega (Diplomatic answers won't work)”. Listening to Deepika talk, Shakun was confused and was not sure what to reply. The host also persuaded Batra into choosing one favorite character out of four but Shakun being himself kept up with his first response.

 

Shakun Batra and the Gehraiyaan cast came together for a virtual interview with Bollywood Hungama where they promoted their forthcoming film which will be released on 11th February. Shakun Batra is an Indian director who has given hits like Kapoor and Sons and Ek Mei Aur Ek Tu.
