EXCLUSIVE: "The greatest highlight of doing The Big Bull is I got to drink Gold Spot" - says Abhishek Bachchan
Actor Abhishek Bachchan seems to be having a good run at the movies. He was last seen in Ludo which received praises. Now, he is gearing up for the release of The Big Bull, releasing on Disney+Hotstar on April 8, in which he plays the role of a stock market kingpin of the 1990s. The actor recently spoke to Bollywood Hungama about the film and what it was like shooting this story!
The actor spoke about the greatest highlight about The Big Bull and it was to have Gold Spot. It was one of the popular drinks in the old days and the actor was kicked about getting to drink in the film. "The greatest highlight of doing The Big Bull is I got to drink Gold Spot. No kid of the 80s or 90s has a childhood without Gold Spot. The greatest kick was I got to drink it during this film. There is a shot in the song also where I eat something and have a Gold Spot," he said.
He further said that he somewhat finished like 10 bottles of it. "I used to say 'let's do one take' just to drink it. We all loved drinking Gold Spot growing up. The whole orange lip was like I have arrived. How can you not give in to the temptation of gold spot," he added.
The Big Bull directed by Kookie Gulati is produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit. Kumar Mangat Pathak and Vikrant Sharma team up as co-producers. The movie is all set to stream exclusively for the subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium on 8th April 2021.
