Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are currently on the second round of Jersey promotions. After the December postponement of the film, the actors are now gearing up for the release this week.

 

EXCLUSIVE: Mrunal Thakur talks about slapping Shahid Kapoor in Jersey

 

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mrunal Thakur talks about slapping Shahid Kapoor in the movie Jersey. During a segment called Rapid Fire, the host asked the actress about the number of retakes she had to take to slap Shahid Kapoor in Jersey, to which she replied “Many retakes, I actually couldn't slap him. It was so difficult for me. I thought how I could slap Shahid Kapoor?''

 

She chuckled and said, “Shahid was extremely supportive of me slapping him. He asked me to think of my ex-boyfriends and slap him.”

 

Jersey which is all set to release on April 22, 2022. The movie is about a talented but failed cricketer who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son's wish for a jersey as a gift.
