Anil Kapoor is gearing up for the big wedding in the Kapoor clan. The actor's eldest daughter Sonam Kapoor will tie a knot next week to entrepreneur Anand Ahuja in private ceremony. The wedding shenanigans are on in full swing as the celebrities are gearing up for their performances at the pre-wedding festivities. Farah Khan is choreographing the sangeet ceremony but she fractured her foot. But, that does not stop the choreographer and director from her work.

As celebrities are visiting her at her residence, Anil Kapoor and Tabu stopped by to check on her health. Farah, who hurt her foot on the sets of a dance reality show, has been sharing some amazing moments on her social media with "#wheelchairdiaries" as her hashtag. On Thursday, Farah shared a perfect reunion video of Anil Kapoor and Tabu who were visiting her. Friends like Tammannaah Bhatia, Huma Qureshi, and others have been stopping by to pay her a visit. Anil and Tabu put up a performance for Farah as they recreated their pose from their 1997 film, Virasat. Sharing a video, Farah wrote, “My 2 dearest friends @anilskapoor n @tabutiful in a Viraasat moment! No1 dare cover papaji s face pls.. worth breaking a leg for.”

 

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja released an official statement about their upcoming wedding on May 2. The wedding will be a private affair and will take place on May 8, 2018. The official statement read, “The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thanks & Regards.”

 

On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be seen in three films this year. One is Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s production titled Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. The second one is Race 3 starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. The last one will be Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao.

 

On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor will be seen in Rhea Kapoor and Balaji Motion Pictures‘ Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is set to arrive on June 1, 2018.
