Fighter: Deepika Padukone rehearses for a dance number with Karan Singh Grover and Sanjeeda Sheikh, see photos

With Pathaan and now a special appearance in Jawan, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for her next movie Fighter. Starring alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor, the film will mark her reunion with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand. The actress was most recently rehearsing for a dance number with a bunch of actors.

The team of Fighter has been living out of Yash Raj Studios where the movie is being shot. The team of the stars were also seen rehearsing at the YRF Studios only. Deepika was joined by Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Akshay Oberoi, Mahesh Shetty among others. The photos were shared by actress Samvedna Suwalka who also celebrated her birthday during the rehearsals and was joined by the director as well. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “This was a working birthday. They say if you work on your birthday, u will spend the whole year working! Something that actors believe or want to believe even more strongly! It’s the nature of our profession. On this birthday I was on the biggest film set and dancing with two of the biggest stars of the country. So what does this mean ? Or rather what meaning will I attribute to this? For now just soaking in the fact that magic exists if u believe in it!”

 

 

 

Last week, it was reported that Siddharth Anand is going to be shooting the much-anticipated party anthem song. Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor are also expected to be a part of it. Following the completion of this high-energy party number, the director is set to embark on filming two more songs, featuring the charismatic duo of Roshan and Padukone, at exotic international locations.

 

Fighter is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under their banner Marflix Pictures along with Viacom18 Studios and will be released on January 25, 2024.
