First Look: Taapsee Pannu returns to the courtroom with Rishi Kapoor in Mulk

After starring with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in social drama Pink, Taapsee Pannu will now be seen with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in her next titled Mulk. Director-producer Anubhav Sinha will tell a story based on true life events.

Rishi Kapoor, on Monday, shared the first look of the film with Taapsee Pannu. Both of them are seen standing in a courtroom. Taapsee is dressed in a lawyer's getup. He even announced that the film will release on July 27. He captioned the first look, "Courtroom drama “Mulk” will get its theatrical release on the 27th July 2018. A Benaras Media Works presentation, the film is directed by Anubhav Sinha produced by Deepak Mukut and Anubhav Sinha. It is presented by Kamal Mukut."

 

Taapsee Pannu, too, shared the same look with a Hindi caption which meant, "Once again the court will would be balustrade, will have a family, would be a mindset and would resist. Perhaps the most relevant topic of current time.”

 

Mulk will entail an interesting ensemble of actors including Rajat Kapur, Prateik Babbar besides Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu. The plot of the film revolves around the story of a joint family who hails from a small town in India, who are out to reclaim their honour after being embroiled in a controversy.
