GOOD NEWWZ: Here’s how Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh bonded with each other

Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh are coming together for the first time in an upcoming comedy, Good Newwz. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani are the leading ladies. From the trailer itself, one can understand it is a madcap comedy with emotions at heart. While both the pairs share a great camaraderie, here’s how Diljit Dosanjh bonded with Akshay Kumar.

On the first day of the shoot, Diljit and Akshay shot the scene where Kiara Advani’s character breaks wind amid a conversation. They performed the scene and Diljit went and sat at his place. After the scene, Akshay asked Diljit when was the last time he spoke? To which, the Punjabi actor responded that he spoke during the scene. And both of them laughed. This is what worked as an icebreaker for them. They discussed everything from Cricket to jokes to funny incidents. They shared a great rapport. Diljit said that since Akshay is a senior with so much experience, there is a respect for him. But, they laughed throughout the filming and even during the dubbing session.

 

Zee Studios presents, in association with Cape Of Good Films – a Dharma Productions Film, Good NewBwz. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh & Kiara Advani. Directed by Raj Mehta, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the film is set to release this Christmas, 27th December.
