Kareena Kapoor Khan just celebrated her 39th birthday with her family and friends. The pictures show that they had a blast with entire Khan and Kapoor family getting together to celebrate the birthday of their superstar. Kareena, dressed in her favourite pair of jeans and t-shirt looked fresh as a daisy as she preened and posed for the paps. It is interesting that despite being in the industry for decades she is still a relevant trend setter for all the mommies and millennials equally. She has done amazingly well, setting right example to all the women out there. Since her childhood she has always been very out there about being a Bollywood star. Karan Johar never tires out of telling a story where he met Bebo who was barely in her teens at a Bombay Times party with an attitude of an already established superstar. She made it clear to him even then, that she will be a star one day. She has it in her and is not afraid to flaunt it.

As a kid, she always flocked around the film sets with her mom Babita and elder sister Karisma Kapoor who was already a mainstream actress. Therefore, most of her childhood pics are with Karisma aka Lolo. She got her first lessons in filmmaking right on sets and made her debut with Abhishek Bachchan in JP Dutta’s Refugee about 18 years ago. Since then, she has gone through ups and downs both in her personal and professional life but that has not deterred her from being a smashing superstar that she always was. From colouring her hair blond to getting into the whole Size Zero mode to then advocating sustainable diet and fitness, she has come a long way indeed.
