Here’s the first look poster of Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi

In the era of biopics and historical period dramas, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her upcoming historical drama Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi. The actress’ upcoming film is catching everyone’s attention as it is a story of Rani Lakshmibai. While the expectations are quite high, on the set pictures are pretty much leaving the fans wanting for more.

Mounted on a large-scale, Manikarnika- The Queen Of Jhansi is a story of courage, strength, and determination, that celebrates the extraordinary story of Rani Laxmi Bai, a symbol of heroism in India.

 

The makers chose Independence Day to kick-start the campaign by releasing the first official poster due to its special significance. Since Rani Laxmibai ignited India's freedom fight, there couldn't have been a better day to showcase the first look of star Kangna Ranaut as Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi.

 

For the film, Kangana Ranaut has undergone intense training. She has trained under experts to learn sword fighting, war action sequences and horse riding.

 

Produced by Zee Studios, in association with Kamal Jain, Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi, directed by Krrish, is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
