Kartik Aaryan reveals how Shah Rukh Khan inspired him to become an actor

Kartik Aaryan happens to be one of those who came to the maximum city to chase their dreams. We can now safely say that he has come out with flying colours, but do you know who played a major inspiration behind this? None other than Shah Rukh Khan! In a recent conversation, he opened up on how he watched Shah Rukh's Baazigar when he was in school, and it changed his life!

 

“I was born in the small town of Gwalior. My parents were in the medical field & I was going to do engineering. But in 9th grade, I saw Baazigar & I knew I wanted to be on the other side of the screen. I was unsure of my parents’ reaction—so I decided to study till 12th in Gwalior & then go to college in Mumbai," he was quoted as saying.Kartik Aaryan reveals how Shah Rukh Khan inspired him to become an actor

 

 

 

The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor's journey in Mumbai was a roller coaster ride, with him running around for work and sharing a flat with as many as 12 boys! With not enough money to get a portfolio shot, he would crop his photo out o group photos and send them across, hoping to get audition calls.  But all is well that ends well.

 

"I’m grateful for where I am & I know I have a long way to go. Sometimes all of it still feels unbelievable—from this point on, the possibilities just seem endless & my dreams, are just waiting to come true," he added.

 

Kartik, who was last seen in Luka Chuppi, has a plate full of interesting films coming. He will be next seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh, which releases on December 6. He is also shooting for Dostana 2, and will be seen alongside Sara Ali Khan in the sequel of Love Aaj Kal.
