The new episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 saw the reunion of Student of the Year stars Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra with a cameo of Alia Bhatt. All three stars have completed 11 years in the industry, married and have come a long way since their debut. In the recent episode, Karan Johar spilled the beans on a hilarious behind-the-scenes incident during the filming of Student of the Year. According to Karan, Sidharth Malhotra, in an intense action scene, came perilously close to breaking Varun Dhawan's nose, resulting in unexpected chaos on set.

Recalling the incident, Karan shared, “I remember when Sid nearly broke your nose in the fight sequence of Student of the Year. Your nose was bleeding, I remember Alia started screaming and I was like why is she overacting so much. She was screaming loudly, when I went to the hospital, Varun’s family were only worried about Sid. They were like yeh Varun ki galti hogi, yeh extra enthu hogaya hoga. They were like, is Sid okay? Tell him not to worry.”

 

Varun Dhawan, joining the conversation, humorously added, “I think they wanted to hit me for a while.”

 

The revelation brought back memories of the camaraderie and unexpected turns that often occur behind the scenes of a film. The incident showcased the bond between the Student of the Year trio—Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Alia Bhatt—during their initial days in the film industry.
