LFW Summer/Resort 2019: Kubbra Sait and Aahana Kumra turn showstoppers for Gazal Mishra, stun in sublime white ensembles

 The third day of the five-day fashion extravaganza, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 saw fashion designer, Gazal Mishra unveil her latest collection with two showstoppers - Aahana Kumra and Kubbra Sait. This stint marks the debut of Ahana Kumra, of Lipstick Under My Burkha fame and Kubra Sait of Sacred Games fame on the fashion platform. While Kubbra was the show opener, Aahana walked towards the end of the show. Both ladies were rendered beautiful in white embroidered ensembles.

 

The designer showcased her collection titled Ateeba that featured a delicate play of pastel palette coupled with hand embroideries. Each piece boasted of fine craftsmanship along with extensive development of traditional hand embroidery techniques. Composed of natural fibers and fluid in shape, the collection is handmade and crafted by various craftsmen. Kubbra donned a voluminous half sleeved Anarkali dress with pulled back hair and minimal makeup.

A radiant smile completed her runway vibe.

 

 

Aahana too was all smiles as she donned a scallop edged crop top teamed with a voluminous lehenga and a dupatta.

Minimal makeup and side-swept wavy hair rounded out her look.

 

 

On the professional front, Aahana was last seen in The Accidental Prime Minister as Priyanka Gandhi. Kubbra will be seen as Scarlett in Gully Boy featuring with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin, scheduled for a release on 14 February.
