Nani opens up on Dasara Vs Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa clash; says, “I would request everyone to go and watch Bholaa…”

South cinema star Nani and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn are all set to kickstart this year with their upcoming films Dasara and Bholaa respectively. Both the films are highly anticipated and are set to clash in theatres on March 30, 2023. In a recent interview, Dasara actor Nani denied the occurrence of any clash.

When asked about the clash of his upcoming film Dasara and Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa, Nani told ANI, “We all love Ajay Devgn and I don’t think there is a clash between the two. I would request everyone to go and watch Bholaa in the morning and Dasara in the evening.” Both the films are slated to release on March 30.

 

Talking about his film, Nani revealed that Dasara is based on real life story. He said, “There are emotions that we can easily relate to in the film. It is based on a real story experienced by our director. His father was a worker in the Singareni coal mines so it is based on a real story.”

 

While promoting his film, Nani also said that the film has relatable content and is a complete entertainer. He said, “It has content as well as all the elements of entertainment. It will connect with the masses. There is no one larger than life and every character you will see in the film is relatable. You will cry and laugh with them.”

 

There are 36 cuts in the film and he said there is nothing to think about as 22 cuts are from one dialogue only. He further added, “There is a word in Telangana which is used to challenge someone, it is ‘Bhanchaut’ which is a cuss word in the North but not Telangana. So, the censor board asked to mute it as it may create issues.”

 

Dasara is one of the most-anticipated Pan-India films of the year. The trailer of the film set an outstanding record by garnering millions of views on it. The Nani-starrer is helmed and written by debutant director Srikanth Odela. In the film, Nani will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar.
