Pooja Hegde shares photos from her brother, Rishabh Hegde’s wedding; pens heartfelt note

Rishabh Hegde, brother of Pooja Hegde, tied knot with his long-term girlfriend Shivani Shetty over the weekend. The actress wrote a poignant letter of congratulations to the pair as they begin their new life together.

Pooja welcomed Shivani into the family and posted a string of pictures from her brother's wedding on Instagram. Sharing the photos, she captioned, “My brother got married to the love of his life! What a rollercoaster of a week it was! I have cried happy tears and laughed like a child. Anna, as you step into the next phase in your life, i hope you LOVE uncontrollably, GIVE with all your heart and find PEACE and understanding in each others presence. @shivanis09, you beautiful stunning bride, welcome to the family.”

 

Pooja donned in a silk saree with her hair tied up in a bun. The actress looked absolutely stunning in the photos. In contrast to the bride's gorgeous silk saree, the groom chose a white sherwani. Pooja posed for a joyful photo with her family members as well.

 

 

Reacting to the pictures, industry friends and fans congratulated the family. A fan commented, “Congratulations to the Hegde family,” while another wrote, “Pooja look beautiful as always.”

 

Pooja also expressed her regret to her Instagram followers for disappearing unexpectedly to attend her brother's wedding. Sharing the post in her Instagram stories, she wrote, “Sorry I have been AWOL, but major life changing things happened last week.” The actress also tagged her sister-in-law in the picture and wrote, "Welcome to the family. It's a crack one but a fun loving bunch.”

 

 

On the work front, Pooja was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus starring alongside Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma and others. She will be next seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which stars Salman Khan. The film will mark the Bollywood debut for Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also features Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Daggubati Venkatesh, and Jassie Gill. The teaser of KKBKKJ was recently released. The film is slated to hit theatres this year during Eid.
