Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and others congratulate Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai on her marriage to Asser Malik

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai announced her wedding to Asser Malik on Tuesday and dropped pictures from her nikkah ceremony in presence of family members in the UK. The Pakistani activist got married in Birmingham.

Malala announced the wedding on social media with pictures from the ceremony. "Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead," she wrote.

 

 

Wishes poured in for Malala and Asser from across the world. Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram stories sharing the picture of the newlywed couple and wrote, "Congratulations @malala Wishing you so much joy and happiness…”. Praising Malala's wedding look, Priyanka further wrote, "You are an absolute vision".

 

 

Actor Katrina Kaif also congratulated Malala on social media. YouTuber Lilly Singh also congratulated Malala for her wedding.
