Ranveer Singh raps in full version of 'What Jhumka', shows sizzling chemistry with Alia Bhatt

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is all set to essay the role of the flamboyant ‘Rocky’ in filmmaker Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Billed as a new era of love, this movie reunites him with his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. Following much anticipation, the second song ‘What Jhumka’ was released today.

The music video sees electrifying chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as they groove to the beats of 'What Jhumka'. The instrumental and the last verse is a recreation of 'Jhumka Gira Re' from the 1966 movie Mera Saaya. Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song has all the elements to become of the popular dance numbers of the year.

 

However, the full version of the song was released on music streaming platforms. To much surprise to the fans, one finds out that Ranveer Singh raps in the song which is crooned by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi.

 

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on 28th July 2023.

 

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will reportedly reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the next historical drama Baiju Bawra. He has also signed Don 3, taking the baton from Shah Rukh Khan who played the role in two movies after Amitabh Bachchan played the same role in the 80s.
