Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reveals her daughter Samara's idolization of Ananya Panday: “For Samara, Ananya Panday is her idol”

In a recent episode of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor, shared that her daughter is a huge fan of Ananya. She even arranged for Samara to meet Ananya’s parents, Bhavana and Chunky Panday, who were thrilled by the news. Chunky introduced himself as Ananya’s father and expressed his joy over her achievements.

Ananya has built a strong fan base with her relatable portrayals of a young girl, a stylish heiress, and an influencer, particularly among young girls like Samara. The young fan was excited to meet Ananya's parents, who welcomed her with warm hugs.

 

As Chunky Panday introduced himself as Ananya's father, his wife Bhavana expressed her appreciation for his introduction. Riddhima Kapoor shared that Samara looks up to Ananya and stated, “For Samara, Ananya Panday is her idol.”

 

This touched Chunky emotionally; he acknowledged that he had never savored his success as much as he does with his 25-year-old daughter's achievements. He humorously remarked that people now believe if the CTRL actress can act, her father can too.

 

For those unfamiliar, Ananya faced criticism from netizens regarding her performances early on. However, in CTRL, Call Me Bae, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, she demonstrated versatility in her roles, earning praise from fans.

 

Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut in Student of the Year 2, alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, produced by Karan Johar. She continued her film journey with roles in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, and others. Her upcoming project is Shankara, where she stars with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. This film is a biopic about lawyer Sankaran Nair, set during the British India era.
