Salim Khan SPEAKS about Arbaaz Khan’s 2nd marriage with Sshura Khan: “Ye koi gunaah nahi hai”
Actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan tied the knot for the 2nd time with makeup artist Sshura Khan on Sunday. While the rumours of their intimate wedding started floating on the internet days before their nikaah ceremony was held, the couple remained tight-lipped. However, Salim Khan, father of Arbaaz, has finally broken the silence on his marriage.
In an exclusive conversation with News18, the veteran writer asserted, “They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime). I am happy for him and I have given my blessings to the bride and the groom.”
When asked if there was any discussion before Arbaaz decided to get married, Khan said, “I don’t think there was any need for a discussion. He is young, educated, and mature and can make his own decisions. There is no need for my permission. If he is happy then nothing else matters. He just mentioned that he was going to get married and I said that’s fine. I also feel that it’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems.”
Speaking of the ceremony, Salim Khan said, “Arbaaz had called his close friends along with the family. It was an intimate affair and all the people were happy for the couple. We all are happy for him.”
For the unversed, soon after the ceremony, Arbaaz shared the photos on his verified social media handle. He wrote, “In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on!” The intimate wedding ceremony took place at his sister Arpita Khan’s home in Mumbai and his entire family, including Salman Khan and Sohail Khan, his son Arhaan Khan, parents Salim and Salma Khan, and his nieces and nephews were present during the nikaah ceremony.
