It has been a good 2023 for Sara Ali Khan. Her last movie Zara Hatke Zara Bachke turned out to be successful at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the family romantic film starred Vicky Kaushal opposite her. Apart from promoting this film, Sara has also been in the news this year for her various spiritual trips at India’s prominent devotional sites. The actress certainly enjoys the spiritual aspect of the country, and she never shies away from showing that side of hers on social media.

Recently, Sara also proved that she is a bookworm too. In her recent Instagram story, the Kedarnath actress shared a picture of the books she has bought recently to satisfy the avid reader inside her. Going by the choice of her books, it seems that she enjoys spirituality in literature as well.

 

The titles of the books, visible in her story, include, Shiva Sutras, I Am Gita, The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind, India Since Independence, The Forty Rules Of Love, Thinking Fast And Slow and The Price Of Civilization.

 

 

Sara was recently in the news when she revealed to E Times the kind of films she would love to do and the advice she received from her Atrangi Re director Aanand L Rai. “I want to be able to do everything. There is a certain connect that I feel to heartland India, and I would like to do another one in that zone. But I also want to do a royal period drama and a romantic film. I want to reach a point where people say that there is no genre that Sara can’t do. I set very high standards for myself; I always have. I believe that if you aim for the moon, you will land on the stars. Aanand L Rai taught me that – give a bad shot, but never give a safe shot. Take a risk, take that leap,” she said.
