The Bollywood dance form over the years has become a distinct dance form in itself. Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan has a huge role to play in this development. She has choreographed over 2000 songs in a career spanning over forty years. She has given the Hindi film industry memorable dance sequences over the years.

Saroj Khan last choreographed the song Tabaah Ho Gaye from the 2019 film Kalank. The song featured Madhuri Dixit who is considered one of the best dancers in Bollywood and shares a deep bond with the late choreographer. Now, a BTS video of Madhuri Dixit performing a long sequence from the song Tabaah Ho Gaye in one take is being circulated. Only the Saroj Khan - Madhuri Dixit duo,could create this kind of magic on screen. She will surely be missed.

 

 

The 71-year-old, who was recently admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital for breathing issues, suffered cardiac arrest and breathed her last at 1.52 am early on July 3, 2020. Madhuri Dixit took to her social media handle to share some of the most beautiful memories with Saroj Khan and wrote, “I'm devastated & at an utter loss of words today! Saroj ji was part of my journey since the beginning. She taught me a lot, not just about dance but so much more. There's a rush of memories in my head thinking of this big personal loss. My heartfelt condolences to the family.”
