Shah Rukh Khan says, “Ridhi Dogra is, unfortunately, playing my mother in Jawan, but…”

When the prevue of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan was out some time back, it succeeded in creating excitement among the audience. But the fans of Ridhi Dogra were bewildered to see her absence from it. However, they were able to see a glimpse of her in the trailer of the film, which was released yesterday, and it was met with a tremendous response.

During Jawan’s recent musical event in Chennai, SRK revealed that Ridhi is playing his mother in the film. He said, “Ridhi, who is, unfortunately, playing my mother. But next film we will work something out… age-wise.”

 

The statement by Shah Rukh have got the fans excited wondering whether Ridhi will actually be a part of one of SRK’s future movies. Following Jawan, Khan has Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani, which is completed and is all set to release in December 2022.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the advance booking of Jawan opened in India today earlier in the day and it has, so far, received a tremendous response from the audience as the tickets are getting booked at a rapid pace.

 

Directed by Atlee Kumar and produced under SRK’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, among others.
