Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor wrap up Batti Gul Meter Chalu with this song called ‘Hard Hard’

It is a known fact that Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are completing the final schedule of their film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. After much delay owing to KriArj’s non-payment of dues, the film was brought back on track by Bhushan Kumar, the head honcho of T-Series. Post that, the Shree Narayan Singh directorial has been wrapping up its pending schedules smoothly. And now we hear that the actors have already completed the final leg and ended it with a song!

Quite literally, it seems that the team of Batti Gul Meter Chalu ended their final schedule with a bang!  The song is said to be a peppy one that will be showcased in the end of the film. And to choreograph the same, the makers had roped in Ganesh Acharya. Titled ‘Hard Hard’, the song is sung by Mika Singh. We got a glimpse from the song recently. In the said still from the song, both, Shahid and Shraddha are seen in rather funky looks.

 

 

Confirming the same, the spokesperson said, “Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor shot for a song 'Hard Hard' at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The shooting of Batti Gul Meter Chalu wrapped up with this song. It also features actor Divyendu Sharma. The song is composed by Sachit Parampara and is penned by Siddharth - Garima.” Interestingly, looks like the song will not feature another actress who plays an intriguing role in this film – Yami Gautam. The actress is expected to play a lawyer, similar to Shahid’s role.

 

 

On the other hand, Shree Narayan Singh expressed his happiness over collaborating with Ganesh Acharya for the song. He mentioned about how he has choreographed for Singh's earlier film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha too which featured Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.

 

 

Batti Gul Meter Chalu that talks about surged electricity charges and corrupt power companies, is expected to release on August 31.
