Siddhant Karnick on his divorce with Megha Gupta, says he realised that two good people might not make for good marriage

Siddhant Karnick, who was last seen in Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad, announced his divorce with actress Megha Gupta last year and it came as a huge shock to his fans. The couple had tied the knot in 2016 and were praised for being the cutest ones around the industry. However, things got rough and the rumours were rife for quite some time before they confirmed that they were separating.

 

During his interaction with a leading daily, he said that they realised that they had more peace of mind when they were away from each other. According to him, peace of mind plays a very important role in making any relationship survive and they lacked it when they were together. He summarises his marriage like the pinch you feel on your arm and then you get used to it after some time but when you go away from it, you realise the kind of peace you were missing. Currently, he is working on his relationship with himself and is happy doing so.
