For the promotions of her upcoming film, Sonchiriya, Bhumi has teamed up with Deepika Padukone’s famed fashion stylist Shaleena Nathani and attempted a varied style file. A promotional round of Sonchiriya saw Bhumi Pednekar pull off a dazzling red ruffed concept saree by designer Arpita Mehta.

The print on print deep red hydrangea ruffled saree was teamed with a coordinated blouse. The tiered ruffle saree, a pre-stitched one that is work like a skirt and doesn’t need a conventional draping.

 

 

It includes pleats at the center and ruffles in tiers of varied lengths at the hem, followed by a pallu with a ruffle.

Statement earrings were the sole accessories of choice.

 

 

Bhumi sported a stunning makeup of nude pink lips, soft rosy eyelids, delicately lined eyes and wispy eyebrows, courtesy makeup artist Kavita Das.

 

 

Her long hair was styled in waves with a center-parting, courtesy hairstylist Seema Khan.

Sonchiriya is an upcoming crime film that presents a rooted tale set in Chambal, directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles, the film is scheduled for a release on March 1, 2019.
