Tiger Zinda Hai is the talk of nation now! The Salman Khan entertainer that sees India’s favourite bhai back doing something that he does best – action, is on a rampage at the box office. The film breezed past the Rs. 150-crore mark in just 4 days, the fastest by any Bollywood film to date. The unbelievable run at the counters has overwhelmed Salman Khan, who just before his birthday celebrations begin, thanks his fans and audiences for the love they have given Tiger Zinda Hai.

 

“I thank my fans and audiences for showering so much love on Tiger Zinda Hai. It was an extremely challenging shoot for the entire crew given we had to pull off some incredible action sequences sometimes in the blistering heat and then in the freezing cold and the love that the movie getting right now only validated that effort everyone put in to make a really good entertainer,” says Salman Khan.

 

The macho superstar also congratulated his co-star, Katrina Kaif, and the director of the film – Ali Abbas Zafar – for their brilliant work in the film. He says, “I congratulate Katrina for her extraordinary performance and Ali for his vision and awesome direction to pull off Tiger Zinda Hai.”

 

The pure adrenaline, high-octane entertainer is currently decimating records at will and is creating history every single day! On Christmas Day, the film earned an incredible Rs. 36.54 crore nett in India to record the Biggest Ever 4-day extended Holiday weekend of Rs. 151.47 crore nett by a Bollywood film. On Day One, it blasted past the Biggest Ever Non-Holiday collection record by a Bollywood film as it took out the previous record held by Dhoom 3 (also a YRF film). On Day 3, it made two historic records. First, it recorded the Biggest Ever single day collection by a Bollywood film as it collected Rs. 45.53 crore nett. Second, it also breezed past the previous record of the Highest Ever 3-day weekend collection held by Sultan (again a YRF film), as it amassed Rs. 114.93 crore nett in India in just 3 days.
