How can you save the future without facing your past? Starring Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Walker Scobell, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaña, The Adam Project is a story of a time-traveling pilot who teams up with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future.

The Deadpool star is reuniting with Free Guy director Shawn Levy for the upcoming Netflix Original and the first trailer offers a glimpse of the adventure story of the past meeting the future. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Adult Adam is a pilot from the year 2050, when time travel has become a reality, who goes on a mission to find his love, Laura (Zoe Saldana), who disappeared along the timeline under mysterious circumstances. Crashlanding in the year 2022, he's forced to team up with his younger self to save his future."

 

Interestingly, this marks the reunion of 13 Going 30 stars Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner. "To say I had the time of my life making this film would be an understatement. And a misleading reference to Dirty Dancing," Reynolds tweeted on Thursday.

 

Written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin, it is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds. The Adam Project hits Netflix this March 11, 2022.
