Varun Dhawan gives a sweet kiss to Sara Ali Khan on their ice cream date in the song 'Mirchi Lagi Toh' from Coolie No. 1

After 'Teri Bhabhi', 'Husnn Hain Suhaana' and 'Mummy Kassam', it is now time for yet another track from Coolie No.1 - 'Mirchi Lagi Toh' - to get people to shake their legs.

Originally composed by Anand - Milind and lyrics by Sameer, Lilo George, and DJ Chetas have added new beats to the iconic chartbuster - 'Tujhko Mirchi Lagi'. The song is sure to have everyone set the dance floor on fire. In the exclusive look, Varun is seen giving Sara a sweet kiss during their ice cream date.

 

Speaking about the new version of the song for the much-awaited Christmas release, director David Dhawan said, “Songs from the original Coolie No. 1 are hugely popular and timeless, according to me these tracks also helped the film. It was always clear that if I ever made this film again, I would use these blockbuster songs. The songs from the original were created by music directors Anand Milind and written by lyricist Sameer, who are close to me. We have done a lot of work together, by including these songs in the new Coolie No.1 it was my way to pay back.”

 

Elated about the entire experience of Coolie No 1, lead actress Sara Ali Khan shares how was it working on such iconic songs, "Working on Coolie No. 1 has really been a dream come true. One has grown up listening to songs like Husn hai Suhana and Mirchi Lagi, and it’s surreal that I now feature in the reprised versions of these songs!"

 

 

 

Coolie No.1, David Dhawan's 45th Bollywood film is produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffery, Rajpal Yadav, Shikha Talsania and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles.

 

Coolie No. 1 premieres on December 25 on Amazon Prime Video.
