Besides having a glamourous life, Alia Bhatt often takes time off to spend some quality time with family and friends. It is often observed that Alia, who is very close to childhood friends, often spends time with them. This past weekend, Alia Bhatt was in Jodhpur to attend the lavish wedding of her best friend Kripa Mehta. The entire gang of childhood friends gathered to make the wedding weekend full of fun and laughter. As one of the bridesmaids, Alia along with girl gang performed on several songs at the sangeet ceremony on Sunday night. She danced on 'Hawa Hawa' from Mubarakan and 'Nachde Ne Saare' from Baar Baar Dekho.

 

 

During her best friend's performance, Alia Bhatt was a little emotional as she was all set to enter a new phase in her life. She was seen wiping her tears while her friend performed on stage on Sunday night.

 

 

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi with Vicky Kaushal which is based on a book. The film is scheduled to release on May 11, 2018. She has started prep for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahamastra which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. It is slated for August 15, 2019 release. Currently, she is shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh.
