Filmmaker Abhishek Varman, who helmed 2 States in the year 2014, is all set to make a multi-starrer film in collaboration with Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film, titled Kalank, stars an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. As the cast is trying to complete the period drama, they are also keeping it light and fun on and off the set.

Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha have been friends for a while and starring together in a film is definitely an added bonus. The trio was in Indore this past weekend to short a portion of the film. Post pack up, they headed straight to the airport but not without goofing around. Sonakshi shared a video on her Instagram story in which Aditya is enjoying the airport ride just like a child while she is telling him that it is not an amusement park. Alia was definitely enjoying the banter between the two of them.

 

Interestingly, on Koffee With Karan, Alia Bhatt said that if she were to set up Sonakshi with someone, it would be Aditya Roy Kapur. We can see why Alia said that.

 

Kalank, which was incepted 15 years ago by Karan Johar and his dad Yash Johar, will release on April 19, 2019.
