South Korean pop titans BTS’ Jimin is reportedly ready to make solo album debut next month in February.

According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, on January 16, it was reported that Jimin is preparing to release a solo album in February. In response to the report, a source from BTS’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC briefly commented, “The [release] schedule will be revealed once it is finalized.”

 

Meanwhile, BTS' Jimin recently collaborated with BIGBANG’s Taeyang on his new single ‘Vibe.’ The BIGBANG member released his new comeback single featuring BTS’ Jimin on January 13. The track also marks the first collaboration between the BTS singer and the BIGBANG member.

 

‘Vibe’ was also Jimin’s second solo project outside of BTS; the first was an original soundtrack named ‘With You’ with Ha Sung Woon for the drama Our Blues. The 3-minute-long high-energy track is a blend of R&B and pop music and expresses the emotions felt within the “vibe” of a relationship.
