Business Proposal star Kim Min Kyu signs with new agency Companion
South Korean actor Kim Min Kyu has officially signed an exclusive contract with newly-launched agency called Companion.
According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, on February 13, a source from his new agency shared, “Since we are staring anew with people we greatly trust and have worked together with for a long time, we will provide full support [to Kim Min Kyu] with his activities in all areas, so that he can be promoted in various fields.”
“Since he built up his acting skills with a diverse filmography, we will do our best to support his diverse acting spectrum through a wide range of activities in the future,” they added. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kim Min Kyu made his acting debut through 2013 tvN drama Monster.
The actor went on to star in multiple dramas like Signal, Because This Is My First Life, Perfume, Queen: Love and War, Backstreet Rookie, Snowdrop, among others. He gained widespread recognition after his appearance in 2022 rom-com series Business Proposal.
Kim Min Kyu is currently gearing up for his new drama titled The Heavenly Idol starring opposite Go Bo Gyeol. The drama is slated to premiere on February 15 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
