Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Tom Cruise attempts biggest stunt in cinema history as he jumps off a cliff on motorcycle 6 times
One thing about Tom Cruise is that he will prove time and again that he is a daredevil to the core. After wishing his fans ‘happy holidays’ ahead of Christmas and New Year, Paramount Pictures and Tom unveiled the video footage of him attempting the biggest stunt in cinema history in Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.
Sharing a video on social media, Tom Cruise is seen attempting the craziest of stunts in an adrenaline-pumping behind-the-scenes video. He jumps off a cliff on a motorcycle. “I've wanted to do it since I was a little kid," Cruise says in the video. "It all comes down to one thing: The audience.”
“This is far and away the most dangerous thing we have ever attempted,” Cruise says in voice-over. The new featurette gives a glimpse of bringing this dangerous stunt to life as he returns as Ethan Hunt, a special agent of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF).
The film also stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby and Frederick Schmidt who will reprise their roles. Other cast members include Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Mark Gatiss, Esai Morales and Charles Parnell.
Helmed by Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will open on July 14, 2023, with Paramount and Skydance. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two will hit theatres on June 28, 2024.
