Shruti Haasan hasnt let her astonishing beauty stand in her way, but I had to remind her anyway. Youve got a beautiful smile, I said. Thank you. Youre the first person who has complimented me on my physical attributes, said the eternally winsome Shruti Haasan. Shes in a chipper mood. Not because I complimented her. Not simply because shes performing many of her own stunts, and pressing the powers that be to allow her to do more, as she likes. Not because the expectations of her debut film Luck are no longer on her shoulders alone. And not because shes in the groove of playing the tough gal. Most likely its because this real life gambling flick is almost only few days on the horizon. From a tomboy in school to a lead singer of a rock band, Shruti comes across as a female from an a** kicking genre. But she aint a bad girl. She might have drop-kicked quite a few baddies in her reel life but its time she got real, and real she did in this special interview coming your way. Listen in as she opens up to our UK correspondent about her first Bollywood offering: Luck, her ten year old friendship with Imran Khan, her love for London, her inspiration: the great Kamal Haasan, her singing career, a special tribute to the Late Michael Jackson and more. Devansh Patel chats to the chic with a cheesecake look who is about to reduce everyone else to hobbits.

Lucky Life

I dont really believe in luck but I do believe that I am very blessed with some of the most wonderful experiences in life Ive had. Im born in a wonderful family. Ive got some of the best friends and consider them lucky (laughs).

Multi-tasking

My entry into Bollywood isnt about me doing multitasking in terms of singing and then acting, no. Honestly, for me, there are practical applications which apply to both but apart from that both are artistic and make me happy. I dont feel different from each other in terms of how it makes me feel. Singing and acting, both of them give me the same amount of satisfaction in a different way. There are certain things you never feel on camera like the way you feel on stage and vice versa.
